Trojan Bot vs. BONKbot
With 30,000+ coins dropping daily, a reliable trading bot isn’t optional. It’s essential. This head-to-head comparison of Trojan on Solana vs BONKbot dissects volume, features, and rewards so you can pick the Telegram bot that delivers the results you need in the meme coin trenches.

Trading bots are essential for any active crypto trader. Doubly so if you’re trenching meme coins.
Over 30,000 coins launch every day. You simply can’t catch everything on your own. Not using one is like trying to catch a bullet with a baseball glove.
All the clicking in the world won’t save you.
But, you say, there’s so many bots. How do I pick?
Welcome to numero dos in our series of “vs blogs” detailing major players (including some history you might not know), how we stack up, and why we think you should choose us.
Why advertise the competition, you ask? With the best product and rewards on the market, we think if you have the data, you’ll choose the home team. So really, it’s in both our interests to give it to you.
Today, it’s Us vs. BONKBot.
Let’s get into it.
If you’re new to Telegram trading bots, we’ve got a blog that covers a few of the basics you can read here. If you’d like to see other vs. blogs click here.
Who is BONKbot?
BONKbot, launched in August 2023, was one of the first Telegram trading bots for the Solana network. Main selling points are simplicity, a connection with the BONK token and community, and having been “built…in the bear”.
Lifetime volume runs about $14B, a little over half as much as Trojan on Solana. Current userbase about 500k. Like all telegram trading bots should, they run a non-custodial platform.
What are their Pros?
Honestly, there’s not going to be any fireworks, but there are a couple of areas where they differentiate themselves. Let’s hit the highlights:
Simple Interface
One of the selling points for BONKbot is an appeal for new traders. It is lauded for the ease of accessibility and no-frills management. This particular point will, however, show up again in our cons section too. Suffice it to say that there is some praise for it on the interwebs.
“Buy Breakout”
An interesting limit order type, essentially telling the bot to purchase a certain amount should the token go above a set price. The idea seemingly being to purchase with the expectation of price continuation.
BONK Burning
One of the big initial draws for BONKbot was the alignment they initiated between themselves and the BONK token. A built in buyback and burn commitment was in place.
“All fees are used to Buyback $BONK which is then distributed. 10% of all fees will go to burning $BONK, instantly.” Wayback link to BONKbot docs
This section of their documents is, however, no longer in existence, and the last documented burn from BONKbot fees seems to have occurred in June 2025 according to the BONKbotBurnBot account.
Sidenote: There are some other burning mechanisms that seem to be in place, but they are not directly associated with the Telegram bot and so are not covered here.
Security Steps
BONKbot has built into their system a 2FA process to limit “seed phrase exports and withdrawals”. This is designed to ensure that funds control cannot be achieved without simultaneous access to the 2FA. While a good step towards security, it may also limit user access should they lose, or simply not have their 2FA app at the moment.
What are their Cons?
When we talked previously about Bloom, one of the primary criticisms was the complexity. For BONKbot, this same criticism stands, among others, but in the opposite direction (i.e. absent abilities).
Missing Features
As the third oldest Solana Telegram trading bot, it would be expected that it would be one of the most built out bots, however, this is not the case. Some of the, what we would consider standard tooling, is absent:
No Copy-Trading (kind of surprising tbh)
No Migration Sniper
No Auto-Sniper
No Autosell
Lackluster Referrals and Rewards
In simple terms, BONKbot offers 30% for direct referrals for the first month, 20% the second, and 10% thereafter. There is no discussion of a larger network (earning from referrals of referrals) or a cashback reward system for users.
No Multiwallet and No Imports
Users get one wallet. That’s all. No multiwallets. And as far as we can discover, there is no ability to import an external wallet.
Burn Ban
Users who want to offload unwanted or rugged tokens and recapture some SOL have no native options. Instead you must export your private key, import the wallet to another provider, and then use a third party service.
Who are We?
Trojan on Solana, launched in early 2024, while originally composed of a small core dedicated team, has grown and expanded dramatically over the last two years. Trojan on Solana built its proprietary routing engine from the ground up to be the fastest most accurate on the market.
Since the release of the bot, Trojan on Solana has risen to the number one position and stayed there. We top all Telegram trading bot metrics, including lifetime users, volume, and rewards paid out. Check out analytics here.
What are our Pros?
While we mostly prefer to let our product speak for itself, this is a comparison blog, so here’s some details on how we stack up against BONKbot and what sets us apart. We’re gonna do this kind of inverse, so that we address their cons in our pro section and vice versa.
Balanced Feature Set
As mentioned elsewhere, we at Trojan on Solana make it a point to provide a UI with the best tooling possible, while avoiding overcomplication. Copy-trading, yes. Auto- and migration sniper, yes. Autosell, big yes. And just to camp for a second. If you don’t already understand what a powerful automation tool Autosell is, please go watch the quick video on it at the link above.
Referrals and Rewards
Objectively, Trojan on Solana has the best system in the Telegram trading bot game:
We offer a 20% cashback program. It returns that portion of your fees to you (essentially dropping the fee to 0.72%).
And, we have a 5-tier referral program. It gives up to 35% for immediate referrals (other tiers are 3.5%, 2.5%, 2%, and 1%), with no cutoffs or time constraints. That’s a lot of potential passive earning.
Flame On
Got junk coins and old rugs you’d like to light on fire and get some SOL back? You can do it natively in the Trojan on Solana Telegram bot. No exporting keys or connecting to other sites. Check it here.
Wallets Galore
Users can simultaneously have up to 10 wallets within the interface, and we also provide the ability to import wallets you already have. This opens up other opportunities, like bundle buying.
What are our Cons?
While always in development, and seeking to continue being the best product on the market, there are areas where BONKbot sets itself apart:
A Slight Curve
While we would never call Trojan on Solana complicated, like any new tool there is a learning curve. But our UI is intuitive and we’re confident once you try it, you’ll have a hard time leaving. To ease the introduction, we built both the Simple and Advanced interface, wrote a full beginner’s walkthrough, have detailed documentation, and provide a 24/7 customer support chat.
Security
Trojan on Solana took a different tack on secondary security methods. Rather than an external 2FA app, which may be easily accessible if a bad actor gets their hands on your smartphone, we developed the simple SAP (secure action password).
With a password, you have it anywhere, on any device, at any time. True, there is no external recovery method for a SAP. But we believe user-stored private keys mitigate this risk factor.
Automatic Community
Built from the ground up, Trojan on Solana did not have a pre-incentivized community on launch. We have earned our 2M users with shared growth, reliability, and a rock-solid product.
Direct Fiat Onramp
Thus far, we have not integrated a direct fiat to crypto onramp. BONKbot has this one up on us. For now.
Which is better?
I know what you’re thinking, “Of course, you're going to recommend Trojan on Solana.”
Well…yes. Yes, we recommend ourselves. For almost all users. Though there may be a subset for whom BONKbot would be better, so hear this last part out, you’ve come this far already.
If someone is looking for a bot with very little learning curve, minimized customization options, and can accept some tools being absent, then BONKbot might be the right choice. If you have to have the fiat onramp or if you are a diehard BONK holder and you’re in it for the (possibly?) ongoing burn, then it might be BONKbot you want. But, for everyone else, Trojan on Solana is the better choice. Here’s a table for the visual learners:
Trojan on Solana | BONKbot
For Beginner Users | X | X |
For Intermediate to Advanced Users | X
Best Rewards | X | |
Fiat Onramping | X | |
Flexible Security | X | X |
Automation Tooling | X | X |
Multiwallet or Coin Burning | X |
Our quick take: for 90-95% of users, Trojan on Solana is still the go to.
Conclusion
We hope you’ve found some good information here. We could honestly have written a dissertation with everything we discovered in our research, but maybe we’ll save that for another day.
We’ve tried to provide some of the most straightforward, and honest coverage as we could.
